As you all know, Honor Society is performing the national anthem at the Mets (yuck!) game on April 23rd! So exciting! Even if it is the Mets...haha...

Our friend Tara from the HS Radio Support Team had the awesome idea about all us HS fans getting seats in the same section at the game! How fun would that be?!

HS Fans! Going or planning on going to the Mets game April 23rd to support Honor Society??? I want to know if you would be interested in sitting in a group section with other Honor Society fan! I am trying to set up a group section so we can show and spread the word to other Mets fans about Honor Society, but I need to get an idea of number of people interested. Join Honor Society on Sunday, March 7th at 2 p.m. for the 9th Annual Jack in the Box Celebrity Shootout, presented by Robert and Carole Machiz. Nearly 20 entertainers representing the television, movie and recording industries will descend upon Phoenix to play in this charity basketball game at US Airways Center. All proceeds benefit Phoenix Suns Charities, Suns Nite Hoops and Cox Charities.

Here is an overview that I typed up from the Live Chat in case you missed it. It is long and not edited, sorry.

HIGHLIGHTS

-Started the chat off with Mike and Jay jammin' on their guitars while Andy set everything up.
-Mike wearing a purple plaid shirt, still has scruff.
-Introduced themselves as Justin Beiber...
-More "backpack cam" for HCT tour. Behind the scenes footage (backstage, on the bus, hanging out) to come soon. They will surprise us with new things all tour long!
-Cool set up, big tv above the computer, so they don't have to squint at laptops to get questions. (Alex, "were not staring at a lava lamp". Mike "ohhh so crazy".)
-"Vancoverage" (Coverage of the Vancouver games, courtesy of Andrew)
-Friends with Evan Lysacheck, Andy was texting him congrats on the gold medal. -They invited Evan to their show (LA?). Shoutout to see if Shaun White will come out to a show as well.
-Fans renting RV to go to shows... Mike wonders who will be be following them in a space shuttle...
-Hope to catch a Yankees spring training game in St. Pete/Tampa
-Sunday, going to Arizona to sing national anthem and to play in a basketball game with a bunch of celebrities.
-Alex and Jay have been practicing basketball. Alex practicing cross-over, tomorrow is the pick and roll.
-Alex want to "break" Jaime Foxx's ankles and say "blame it on the ah-ah-ah-alcohol, blame it..."
-Nervous to sing the national anthem at the Pro Bowl. Sang it a lot in practice in dining rooms. Before the pro bowl, had never sang the national anthem. Never had a vocal arrangement.
-Set up arrangement in Mikes parents house, on his grandma's piano, sang it for Mikes parents. That was their first audience. Second audience, Pro Bowl audience.
-Alex was nervous because the players were so much bigger than him.
-Used Sing for you when the players came out during the Pro Bowl.
-Their thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Chile.
-Andy - Mets fan
-Mike - Yankee fan
-Alex worst stage moment, in Montreal, had a packed show, the stage was dark, Alex went to stand on drum throne, which wasn't on solid ground. Alex fell from standing up... to the ground. But no one noticed, cause he landed on his feet.
-Meet and Greet - If a part of the fan club, guaranteed a meet and greet.
-Have clean underwear on? ALWAYS. Andy changes his 3 times a day.
-Thinking of setting up more food drives. Want to try and give back. Want to turn gifts to them, into things people need so they can donate them.
- Jared Sharff - why they love him. Friend of theirs, part of the band for SNL. Played drums in band with Mike in 6th grade. Andy went to college with him. Wrote HCT with Jared and his writing partner.
-Tik Tok/HS remix on youtube. HCT or Nobody Has to know Tik Tok remix
-HCT tour feels really special. Don't wait to get tix, don't want to be left out.
-Working hard to bring new music and what HS is all about
-Some surprises in store for HCT tour. New songs, song covers, songs you know but haven't heard live (Play Can't Box Me In).
-Play the Rock With Me guitar Riff. (Mike played it, and KILLED IT!)
- Little sneak peak in LA, at the Grove on Saturday. Will be introducing opening acts, with mini performance by them. HS playing a few songs as well.
-Talked about Cheesecake Factory, Burrito Lasagna and Cheesecake Alfredo.
-Alex thinks should have a nugget sampler of all their cheesecakes.
-Asked Alex to do the Jerk. Might have it ready for tour. Been going to dance classes...
-What do the fans want to see on this tour (besides Alex's green belt) - Frozone, Glitter, Tricks on stage, crowd surf, more dances, fist pumping, covers, jokes
-Jorts - alex wore jorts earlier in the day. Alex and Mike invented them. They are being brought back. Leather jorts? sounds like a funky outfit.
-Andy can't grow facial hair evidently.
-Mike talks about twitter - tweeting more from the band accnt. More fun things to come from it to win tix and to meet people. Fun things.
-Most viewers in an HS chat ever...
-Alex twitpiced a pic of their view of their live chat set up.
-New segment, "Real Talk" - Twitter, twice people replied to Mike some hate. They said "I didn't think you saw it"... REAL TALK! Send to andy's twitter if you don't want Mike to see it. "lets start trash talking each other on twitter.." haha
-Played When I get home - Alex is Rick Ross...
-started writing it in Jersey on the FL tour on the bus.
-ATL - World of Coke. Had taste testing zone, every continent has a flavor. Italian one, Beverly, everyone else hated it, Andy liked it. CUE everyone sending him cases of it.
-Sing the national anthem... promise to practice every day...
-Look out for them to sing the national anthem more often.
-Andy's pushup marathon, his alter ego is doing most of the work. His pecs feel break, they have been blasted.
-Won contest, when band first started, to open for a band at nokia theater in nyc. got 10 mins to play, had no business doing that. To come and have a headlining show there is such a blessing for them.
-Alex is thinking a lot today, kinda scary, better pace himself, doesn't want to run out of thoughts for the rest of his life.
-Last tour, LA HOB show filmed... will end up on iTunes.
-A show will be filmed on this tour. City will be announced soon... come dressed to impress to that show. It will be filmed in HD.
-Good chance HS will be on the big color billboard in the middle of times square. Andy requested, when that happens, take pics and send em to them.
-If you see any other cool HS things around your town (in newspaper, magazine) send it to them as they travel through a town in a day and can't see everything.
-Shoutouts to friends they have met along the way and artists they have toured with.
-Still the same guys from NY that were in "Big Al's" basement, banners, bowties
-New video on Esmee's youtube of them singing My Own Way from the last tour.
-Mike afraid of ghosts?
-Shot "You really got me" video in Milwaukee the last tour.
-Sing Golden Girls Theme as they sign off the chat
