HS CREW!!
We are coming to you live from Montreal and it is a beautiful afternoon at least it is on the bus it is raining outside! I am looking out the window of the bus right now and you guys are lined up in the pouring rain. I want to buy you all ponchos and hot cocoa. HS fans never cease to amaze us! Anyways we have a lot to catch you up on. So let's get into it! Let's backtrack all the way to Friday April 23rd we rolled into NYC and right over to MTV to soundcheck for our live chat later that evening. Once we wrapped there, we hopped over to Queens to check out the new CitiField the new ballpark of the New York Mets and we got to sing the National Anthem to kick off their series with the Atlanta Braves. We got to go on the field, watch batting practice and see the players warm-up! We got back to MTV and right in time to perform live for Buzzworthy and our HS Crew--we love you! Performing the National Anthem At the MTV Buzzworthy Performance All photos by Ashley Myers-Turner The next night, was unbelievable! We got to go back to Nokia Theater in Times Square and play our biggest NYC city show EVER! It was such a great night, the HS Crew was on FIRE all night long and made the show really special. Larger than life in Times Square! We also had Timbaland's DJ Freestyle, spin all night long he is the man and it got us thinking that we should have a DJ out on our next headlining tour. What do you guys think? After NYC, we raced to Washington D.C. for a Earth Day Festival on the lawn of the National Mall. Sting, The Roots, Bob Weir and Patrick Stump were all there too. It was unreal to play a show in the shadows of the National Monument and have the Capital in the background! It was an honor to be invited and perform with so many of our heroes. We wrapped up our show at the Rock n' Roll Hotel and it was the best!! The District was on fire tonight and the HS Crew packed out the club. It was an awesome way to cap off an awesome weekend. Bringing it to Norva After we packed up in D.C. we jumped in a cab and headed toward Norfolk, Va for our second show of the day at the Norva! The second show was just as hot as the first! We woke up the next day back in D.C The D.C. fans came out in force and got us re-energized. The espressos from the coffee shop next door helped too hahaha!! From D.C. we went North up to New Haven, CT for a show at Toad's Place. It has soooo much history! Everybody has played there from the Rolling Stones to Billy Idol to Megadeath! The show was so cool and seeing all of you guys there made it a perfect return to CT! After New Haven, we swung around to Allentown for a show at Crocodile Rock and again you guys showed up in force. I was actually talking to one of the security guards after the set, and he told me that HS fans are by far the loudest he has seen come through so again, well done. Hahaha. By the way, who grabbed a slice of pizza from the parlor that is attached? It was soo good I mean, maybe we have been away from NYC for too long and my radar is off, but I thought that it was legitimately a good slice. Updates from Boston, Raleigh, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta coming soon so stay tuned! The tour is wrapping up and we are going to make these last few shows the best yet. Don't miss it if we are coming to your city! Love you all. HONOR SOCIETY Michael, Jason, Andrew & Alex Posted on 06 May 2010 by Steph K-S
Congratulations are in store for Honor Society, as they are Musiqtone's Artist of the Month for the month of May!
From Musiqtone.com: "These four guys from Los Angeles by way of the suburbs of New York City have come indeed one hell of a long way since becoming You Gotta Knows here just over two years ago. Since then, they have played some famed venues in NYC and inked a label deal with the Jonas Brothers following a sold-out performance at the famed Irving Plaza in the heart of New York City. Not much has changed in their sound (Maroon 5 meets Backstreet Boys) but they have quickly become one of the most entertaining and high energy live acts music has to offer. From beginning to end, they put forth an energy and execution that could be dare to say begin to match a legendary act known also for their high energy performances, The Eagles. And to put further of their immense talent, they can strip it down and put forth an acoustic performance that will send chills up your spine. Through it all, this is why Michael Bruno, Andrew Lee, Jason Rosen and Alex Noyes of Honor Society is Musiqtone.com's Artist of the Month." -Written by Alan Ho To read the rest of the page that is up for Honor Society, go HERE!
